James created the 1st Stittsville Scouting promotional video as part of his Chief Scout Award final project in 2018. The Chief Scout Award is an extremely hard award to earn, as it requires much work (from both the Scout and their Scouters). It is obtained through earning Scout badges and awards, doing many hours of community service, environmental projects and a Chief Scout Project.

Typically, out of 300 Beavers that would start in Scouting, only 1 will earn the Chief Scout Award.
